No longer available. I need one too, but the problem is not only is the thermistor failing, but the plastic housing is no longer sealing the fuel as it ages. I have a design in mind for a replacement, I just need the time to make it. The thermistor itself is readily available, but replacing the thermistor on the original housing is nearly impossible. For now I have a blanking plug on my fuel tank until I can make my own piece. Another problem is that even if you buy a working used sensor it is not guaranteed to seal properly. My broken one sealed fine until I removed it, and even with new sealing washers, it would no longer seal when I reinstalled it. The same is true of a used, serviceable unit I also had, so I made a blanking plug out of aluminium until I can make a whole new unit.

The seal... That's why I'm looking for a defective sensor so I can have a closure made. The turners here have an easier time with a model. And I don't feel like making complex drawings. The parts haven't been available for a long time, and you can't drive it without removing it. But my buddy needs his Cali every day.

You can make a flat washer that you can use as a cover plate until you are able to make a replacement. That's basically what I did. I was going to make the body out of aluminum. You will need fuel rated wires and fuel rated shrink tubing and a good fuel rated tank sealant.

I had in mind a hydraulic plug with a Viton seal from Parker, Ermeto screw connection. Everything on our machines is hydrostatic, unfortunately I couldn't find anything suitable for the Calitank nozzle in the whole factory...

Das habe ich natürlich vergessen. Kalifornischer Stahltank.

Also wenn ich das richtig verstehe brauchst Du nur einen Verschluss, der Geber beleibt draußen, richtig?

...kann man nicht aus dem Tankgeber die Verschraubung abbauen und diese Verschraubung so ändern (zuschweißen oder löten) das die dann als Verschluss genommen werden kann? ..ich kenne das Teil nicht aber so könnte es auch gehen oder?
