This is a steel tank, not a nylon tank, in which case it would be done by unscrewing the nozzle and a plate.

I had in mind a hydraulic plug with a Viton seal from Parker, Ermeto screw connection. Everything on our machines is hydrostatic, unfortunately I couldn't find anything suitable for the Calitank nozzle in the whole factory...

Das habe ich natürlich vergessen. Kalifornischer Stahltank.

    Problem identified Phil... :FG

The seal... That's why I'm looking for a defective sensor so I can have a closure made. The turners here have an easier time with a model. And I don't feel like making complex drawings. The parts haven't been available for a long time, and you can't drive it without removing it. But my buddy needs his Cali every day.

You can make a flat washer that you can use as a cover plate until you are able to make a replacement. That's basically what I did. I was going to make the body out of aluminum. You will need fuel rated wires and fuel rated shrink tubing and a good fuel rated tank sealant.

No longer available. I need one too, but the problem is not only is the thermistor failing, but the plastic housing is no longer sealing the fuel as it ages. I have a design in mind for a replacement, I just need the time to make it. The thermistor itself is readily available, but replacing the thermistor on the original housing is nearly impossible. For now I have a blanking plug on my fuel tank until I can make my own piece. Another problem is that even if you buy a working used sensor it is not guaranteed to seal properly. My broken one sealed fine until I removed it, and even with new sealing washers, it would no longer seal when I reinstalled it. The same is true of a used, serviceable unit I also had, so I made a blanking plug out of aluminium until I can make a whole new unit.

Remember that the 1100i and the V11 Sport have different offset triple clamps. 45mm V 40mm and different again for the later V11 Sport and V11 Le Mans.

These look like they will be either 1100 Sport 45mm Offset or early V11 Sport 45mm Offset.

"Very early "V11 Sport 45mm offset. Later V11 Sport (2000MY) 40mm offset. Very early V11 uses the same brackets as the 1100 Sport, probably from the same parts store. Later V11 variants (bikes with clipons on the top clamp and regular handlebars also) used "canted fork clamps". So the staple shaft and the forks were not parallel.

    :711:you screwdriver,

I tore :tongue1: off the plastic socket on the left of the throttle valve body while pressing on the fuel line (despite holding it with the pliers). According to Wendel, that should be the case with the V10 GU 02999200 - if available 215.75 two pieces :506:. No, not the 100 value pack.

Question: Does anyone have a complete throttle body? As I said above, only a defective part - I have an idea (looked at with a magnifying glass) on how to get the nozzle out.

As always, suggestions are welcome here.

Do you mean this faucet? If yes, I can send them to you. You will need to remove the small locking pin to slide the fitting out of the throttle body.

    if he has 43mm / 25/30 acsche

Do you mean the axle too, Paul? I was able to cancel the deal on the other forks which was good. I would be interested in these forks but I cannot communicate with the seller on this ebay format which I am not familiar with either. It seems it's for local people only so I'm not sure if it ships to Australia and accepts Paypal.

Hallo Paul, danke für die Hilfe. Zu viele Fragen mit diesen Gabeln. Ich werde sehen, ob ich den Deal rückgängig machen kann.

    Ciao

Hey Paul, thanks for the links, I really appreciate that. I bought the first pair of forks the 43mm ones, but I'm not sure I made a mistake. I noticed in the translation after the purchase the word "copy" is used in the description! Hmm, not sure now. I've tried to learn as much as possible about the different forks and there seem to be 3 variations. Two types of 40mm forks and the later 43mm forks. My workshop manuals are for the original 99-2001 and the later "update" manual. The update manual states that the later 43mm forks should be 778mm in length, as opposed to the earlier 750mm. I'm not sure there will be a later longer version of the 43mm forks. I assumed the additional length is for the clipons that are mounted on top of the triple clamps. I don't know why they got any longer. I hope I haven't missed anything and wasted my money.

Why not upgrade to a 15M, which is much smaller, includes a barometric sensor and can still be bought new. Just change one ECU connector und die Programmierung
