Hey Paul, thanks for the links, I really appreciate that. I bought the first pair of forks the 43mm ones, but I'm not sure I made a mistake. I noticed in the translation after the purchase the word "copy" is used in the description! Hmm, not sure now. I've tried to learn as much as possible about the different forks and there seem to be 3 variations. Two types of 40mm forks and the later 43mm forks. My workshop manuals are for the original 99-2001 and the later "update" manual. The update manual states that the later 43mm forks should be 778mm in length, as opposed to the earlier 750mm. I'm not sure there will be a later longer version of the 43mm forks. I assumed the additional length is for the clipons that are mounted on top of the triple clamps. I don't know why they got any longer. I hope I haven't missed anything and wasted my money.

Do you mean the axle too, Paul? I was able to cancel the deal on the other forks which was good. I would be interested in these forks but I cannot communicate with the seller on this ebay format which I am not familiar with either. It seems it's for local people only so I'm not sure if it ships to Australia and accepts Paypal.
